Abstract/Summary To introduce small variations on the previously investigated iridium P-C-P pincer complexes. The variations include substitution of cyclohexyl groups for the tert-butyl and the iso-propyl groups found on the phosphines. Thus, synthesis of these new iridium P-C-P pincer complexes was performed with the aim of improved catalytic dehydrogenation activity as well as a better understand of the influence that ligand sterics and electronics have on the active species.
