Title Tetra-Tethered POSS Micelles 2
Creator(s) Chan, Elaine
Abstract/Summary Issue Date: 31-Jan-2005 Description: Simulation Software: Glotzer Group Code Simulation Method: Brownian Dynamics A system of 1000 building blocks of POSS (polyhedral oligomeric silsesgioxanes) with 4 homopolymer tethers, each consisting of 4 beads, at concentration 0.25, was run starting from an initial configuration generated under athermal conditions. The system was then instantaneously quenched to a temperature of T* = 1.0 and run for 5 million time steps forming a cubic ordered phase. The solvent was selectively good for tethers and poor for POSS cages. Simulation Model: United Atom Bead Spring with Lennard-Jones and FENE
